Each device keeps its own private copy. To move data, create a backup in Settings and restore it on the other device (e.g. via AirDrop or iCloud Drive).
Privacy
- • Your data lives only on your device, encrypted.
- • Statements are processed on-device (PDF.js + on-device OCR). The OCR engine is downloaded once; your documents are never uploaded.
- • No bank linking, no ads, no tracking.
- • Settings → Delete everything erases all data.
How to use it
- Upload Statements: drop a monthly PDF (or CSV). Password-protected PDFs will ask for the password.
- Review: rows highlighted in yellow need a quick check. Fix the category, date or amount, then Import.
- Monthly Budget: we create a preliminary budget from what you spent. Add anything missing (bills paid from other accounts) with “Add missing item”.
- Dashboard: your month at a glance. Switch months, accounts or household members at the top.
- Transactions: change a category once and we'll remember it for that merchant. Click a description to split, add notes, mark business, or exclude transfers.
- Bills: confirm recurring payments we detected; the forecast uses them to project 30/60/90 days.
- Debt: enter balances and rates from your loan statements to compare snowball vs avalanche.
- Savings Goals: set targets and monthly amounts; we suggest affordable contributions.
- Reports: download PDF, Excel or CSV, or a one-page budget summary to print.
- Mistake? Press Undo at the top. Every change is saved automatically and logged in Transactions → Edit history.
How amounts are counted
- • Transfers between your accounts are excluded from income and spending.
- • When a credit card's purchases are imported, the card's purchases count as expenses and the payment from checking is treated as a transfer (no double-counting). Without card statements, card payments count as debt payments.
- • Refunds reduce spending in their category. Savings transfers count as savings, not spending.
- • All figures are calculated with fixed formulas from your data — nothing is invented.
Tip: add the app to your Dock/Home Screen for the best full-screen experience.
